If you are looking for a little bit of inspiration, or simply need some resources to get you started on your post 16 journey, there are a number of websites that will give you free access to a range of tools from CV builders to skills building courses.

Barclays LifeSkills has a range of interactive tools available for you to access from age 14 which you can use alone, with family or support within the school.

You can also apply for Work Experience and other opportunities on the LifeSkills website. 

​

Abbey Manor College have tutor access and throughout the course of your time here, you will engage in careers focused sessions, some of which will be delivered using LifeSkills resources.

Student Jobs is a website where students can search for jobs, read careers advice and use a range of free tools to help with writing your CV, writing application letters and interview tips. 

​

You can also access a free CV maker tool to make your life a little easier. Your Careers Lead will also work with you to create a School Leaver CV
